World Critical Dietetics (WCD) and the Journal of Critical Dietetics (JCD) have had the privilege of offering the following awards in previous years. With continued sponsorship, we hope to reinstate these awards in the future.

Evelyn Crayton Student Leadership Award 

The Evelyn Crayton Student Leadership Award was established to honor Dr. Crayton’s decades-long commitment to community advocacy, equity, and nutrition education. Presented in previous years by WCD, this award recognized first- or second-year students from underrepresented groups in dietetics and nutrition who demonstrated leadership through community-based action. Recipients were awarded CAD 500 and complimentary admission to the WCD yearly conference.

Adele Hite Knowledge Translation Student Award
